Our 2013-14 after school art club will begin meeting on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Art club has 25 places open to fourth and fith grade students that will be filled on first come basis. A waiting list will be kept and places will be filled from that list should a spot become vacant Students may bring a healthy snack to enjoy in the art room prior to beginning. We will dissmiss at 4:30 pm and students will be escorted to the car riders pick-up area. Students should bring or wear old clothes on art club days since some projects may be messy. Students are expected to follow regular school rules for conduct and dress during art club. Here is a list of some of projects we will be working on.
Jackson Pollock rug painting. Students will splatter paint the solid brown rug using diluted acrylic paint.

So far this year our Art Club students have: completed the Jackson Polluck rug, Banner, decorations for the school Fall Festival and holiday program, Holiday greeting cards for local nursing home visits and some individual projects. Our next community service project will be making paper roses to distribute to local nursing home residents.
